Warning about new contracts for residents of group homes
Residents of Ageing, Disability and Home Care group homes may be left vulnerable to short-notice eviction under new contracts with service providers. The contracts fail to meet NDIS standards, which states that a provider may not withdraw services without allowing a person enough time to find a new provider.
