Do you know a person with disability that needs to book a COVID-19 vaccine? The Disability Gateway is available to help people with disability to book a COVID-19 vaccine.

Visit www.disabilitygateway.gov.au or call 1800 643 787 (8am to 8pm AEST, Monday to Friday).

 

  • Inclusion Australia’s recent webinar with the Department of Health, for people with an intellectual disability about the COVID 19 Vaccine is now available to watch online. Watch as self-advocate Tara Elliffe and Dr Nick Lennox talk about why it is important to get the covid vaccine and answer your questions.
  • The Department of Health has published a series of materials as part of the COVID-19 vaccination – Disability provider kit. This set of resources are designed to help disability providers promote COVID-19 vaccination to their employees. It can be accessed via the following link.
  • Here are some great COVID resources in Easy English including on masks, restrictions, what to do after you have had a test, how to access services etc. has been developed by Access Easy English. You can view those at https://accesseasyenglish.com.au/covid-19-resources/
