Disability Advocacy Network Australia (DANA) has been funded by the Australian Government to engage with advocates, people with disability and experts as part of the independent NDIS Review. DANA will be focusing on the following – Quality and Safeguarding, Tier 2/ILC/Mainstream, and Housing (SIL/ILO/Other).
As part of our engagement activities, DANA will be providing small grants of up to $10,000 to member organisations to engage with people with disability in closed settings so that they have their voices heard. Closed settings may include group homes, boarding houses, prisons, and out-of-home care. Priority will be given to funding member organisations with existing programs and links to people in closed settings. Engagement activities could include running focus groups or one-on-one interviews on specific issues/questions. Proposed engagement activities under the Expression of Interest should focus on formulating and testing solutions in relation to specific focus areas for the NDIS Review.
DANA invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from member organisations outlining the organisation’s interest in the opportunity and ability to perform the engagement activities.
