Disability Advocacy Network Australia (DANA) recommends that the Committee not support passage of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026 on the current compressed timetable. Additional time is required to scrutinise and amend the Bill to avoid harm, introduce safeguards and address unintended consequences.
