Now is the time for DANA membership whether you’re renewing or joining us for the first time 

At Disability Advocacy Network Australia (DANA), we believe in the power of the collective voices of our members. As the national representative body for independent disability advocacy organisations, our members are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we amplify the voices of people with disability, advocate for systemic change, and build a more inclusive Australia.  

As we begin the 2025/26 financial year, we are encouraging current members to renew their membership and inviting new members to join us under our updated membership structure and fee schedule. These changes reflect our commitment to keeping membership affordable while ensuring we can continue supporting the sector’s most marginalised voices.  

Why become a DANA member?  

DANA membership offers more than just updates – it is about collaboration, influence, and impact. Members benefit from:  

• Regular sector updates, newsletters, and invitations to training and presentations  
• Participation in policy development, advocacy campaigns, and submissions  
• Opportunities to collaborate with other members, exchange information and develop stronger networks  
• Visibility on DANA’s website and the ability to promote your membership   
• Access to forums and consultations, especially around legislation, policy, and sector development  

Full Members – independent advocacy organisations – can vote on resolutions, stand for election, and help shape DANA’s governance. Associate Members, including individuals and organisations not eligible for full membership, can attend and be heard at general meetings and collaborate on research, submissions, and industry projects.  

Updated membership fees for 2025/26  

We have introduced a new fee structure to support our growing network:  

• Full membership: Flat annual fee of $100  
• Associate membership (based on annual revenue):  
• Less than $500,000 or individual: $150 (NFP) / $300 (For-profit)  
• $500,000 – $1.99M: $250 (NFP) / $500 (For-profit)  
• $2M – $4.99M: $500 (NFP) / $1,000 (For-profit)  
• $5M – $9.99M: $750 (NFP) / $1,500 (For-profit)  
• $10M+: $1,250 (NFP) / $2,500 (For-profit)  

These fees help us continue advocating for those with the least access to resources, while offering valuable opportunities for collaboration, learning, and sector-wide engagement.
